Lauren Klotzman

Lauren Klotzman (b. Victoria, TX, they/them) is an interdisciplinary art practitioner presently based between New Haven, CT, and Marfa, TX. A current MFA Candidate at Yale, Klotzman has previously studied at Sarah Lawrence College, Naropa’s Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, and Bard College. Their work examines histories of computing, the geology of media, and the nature of the screen via expanded notions of painting, textile production, and lensless video techniques. They have exhibited internationally and have published with Hyperallergic, TROLLTHREAD, Baest Journal, Boston Art Review, and The Operating System, among others.
