Dr. Ilya Vidrin is Assistant Professor of Creative Practice Research at Northeastern University. Born into a refugee family, Vidrin’s work engages the complex ethics of human interaction, including the embodiment of empathy, cultural competence, and social responsibility. Most recently, Vidrin was named as one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch (2022), and has been artist-in-residence at New Museum (NYC); Jacob’s Pillow; National Parks Service; Harvard ArtLab; and Boston Center for the Arts.
